VETERAN MICHAEL WOKASCH JOINS OCULUS INNOVATIVE SCIENCES AS
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
PETALUMA, CA-- (July 11, 2006)—Oculus
Innovative Sciences, Inc., announced today that Michael Wokasch
has joined the company as chief operating officer. Mr. Wokasch
has more than twenty years of experience in the healthcare
industry, most recently as senior vice president of commercial
operations for the biopharmaceuticals division of Chiron
Corporation. He has held marketing and sales positions at
Merck & Co., Miles Pharmaceuticals (now Bayer), and Abbott
Laboratories; and senior management positions at Impax Laboratories,
Aurora BioSciences, and Gala Design. He received his bachelor
of science degree from the University of Minnesota, college
of pharmacy.
Mr. Wokasch will assume responsibility for
global operations including the company’s manufacturing
facilities in the United States, Mexico, and The Netherlands,
product development, and sales and marketing.
