Oculus Innovative Sciences Netherlands B.V. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc.) was founded at the end of 2003. This European entity directs the marketing, sales and customers service of Dermacyn^® products in Europe, Africa, The Middle East and Eastern markets.

The facility is located in Roermond (in the south part of The Netherlands); directly accessible from the main highways and strategically located between the airports of Amsterdam, Brussels and Dusseldorf.

The European organization is focused on maintaining our customer satisfaction, generating market awareness and the commercialization of Dermacyn^® Wound Care.

Dermacyn^® Wound Care is a super-oxidized solution for treating acute and chronic wounds (e.g. diabetic foot ulcers and burns). The combination of excellent performance (broadly applicable within a comprehensive wound treatment); unparalleled safety for patient, medical practitioner and environment; and a ready-to-use, shelf-life stable formula makes Dermacyn^® Wound Care a clear revolution. The application has received approval according to the European Medical Devices Directive (93/42/EEC). We obtained CE-certification in November 2004.

Oculus Innovative Sciences Netherlands has adopted a market acquisition strategy which employs a regionally segmented distributor network. Having launched Dermacyn^® Wound Care late 2004, we have been expanding this network in the European, African, The Middle East and Eastern territories.
